Detailed Design
During the Detailed Design phase, we develop the concept to provide a detailed specification for budgeting and approval.
Typically, we would produce a drawing pack and include at least the following items:
- Detailed GA Plans
- Reflected Ceiling Plans
- Low- & High-Level Small Power Layouts
- Flooring Plans
- Builders Plans
- Partition Elevations
- Teapoint Elevations
- Joinery Details
- Door Schedules
- Finishes Schedules
Collaboration with Mechanical & Electrical designers may be required to ensure that the services support the design. We typically specify lighting styles, architectural features, locations, and types of air grilles, finishes etc and M&E consultant provides any technical back up e.g. lighting calculations, electrical & mechanical loading specifications etc.
We may also request additional technical knowledge for complex Audio-Visual systems, these would include integrated sound systems, projectors, high spec displays etc
Our drawing pack is also issued to Building Control to ensure compliancy and we may also need Planning Consent or Listed Building Consent depending on your building.
