Educational
There is some crossover of furniture specification from offices to Higher Education, especially since it has been in the private sector. Meeting rooms, receptions, office and breakout areas are generally part of the furniture specification as well as class rooms, study spaces and co-working areas.
Cost is often a driving factor and all furniture needs to be very robust. Spaces are generally designed for a younger audience and colour is often integrated into the furniture specification.
Collaboration, concentration and task based activites all need to be supported, some with standard furniture and others with bespoke items.
