There are many and varied manufacturers of desks, task chairs and storage units.
Desk considerations
Desks can be standalone or in benches, and they can be fixed height, incrementally height adjustable to support height variance and fully height adjustable for sit stand usage. They can be contemporary or traditional and can vary hugely in cost. Most desks will come with a 5-10 year warranty if installed correctly and will usually occupy at least 50% of your office space.
Chairs
Task chairs have been developed to support the user while sitting at a computer and they are technically advanced in their construction with many moving parts. They should be specified to support the user and with hybrid working this can be someone different every day. Reducing the number of adjustments has become the norm and most manufacturers now offer chairs that automatically react to body weight.
Storage
The amount of storage within office space has been reducing steadily over the last ten years, since most documents are now stored digitally and the paperless office is no longer a pipedream. We are seeing lockers being used in most office spaces, as these have replaced pedestals to support hybrid working.
