We helped Sanlam, a dedicated and innovative financial planning company, manage the refurbishment and expansion of their London office. We were engaged as both project manager and cost consultants to negotiate and manage their preferred contractor, Oktra. The project was phased to allow continuous occupation and we subsequently provided move management services for the relocation of furniture and staff.
Phase 1 included the refurbishment of the new fourth floor. Once that was complete, most of the occupants from the third floor moved into this new space to allow the second phase, on the third floor, to commence. The focus for the scheme was very much on the user experience as Sanlam wanted to create a collaboration hub and impressive teapoint area to open lines of communication, while private workspaces needed to enable employees to focus on high concentration work.
